Lebanon Redefined: Comprehensive Plan Update
This website is for the City of Lebanon Comprehensive Plan Update, Lebanon Redefined. The comprehensive plan was adopted on May 12th, 2025. The City of Lebanon has adopted this plan as an update to the previously adopted comprehensive plan from 2020 and it will address the rapidly changing Lebanon in a thoughtful way that helping create a long-term vision for the future of the community.
The Plan Vision
The vision of this plan is to use the six (6) key planning elements to develop an implementation strategy that will inform the future of Lebanon while addressing the needs, wants, and aspirations of the community. This plan will uplift the character and values that make Lebanon distinct, by showcasing the small-town charm, family friendly environment, and historic heart of downtown Lebanon. Additionally, this plan will create initiatives that support meaningful, well thought-out growth that will create an environment for investment, development, and improvement within the city making Lebanon a highly desirable place amongst other great Central Indiana communities.
